Holster was born in 2001 on the beautiful shores of Noosa Beach, Queensland, Australia. What started as a local brand has grown into a favourite worn around the world. Not because that was the plan, but because quality, comfort, and an honest story always speak for themselves.

Materials with a purpose. ♻️

At Holster, we believe beautiful footwear should also have a positive impact. Around 65% of the materials used in our shoes can be recycled at the end of their life.

For part of our sneaker collection, we go one step further. These styles are made using recycled ocean plastic, giving around ten 600 ml plastic bottles a second life in every pair. They're also certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

Part of our collection is handcrafted by skilled makers who take pride in their work. We only partner with accredited manufacturers and ethical suppliers with whom we've built long-term relationships.

Our CEO personally visits the factories twice a year, and our team regularly monitors the production process. Child labour has no place at Holster, now or ever.

Better materials, naturally. 🌿

We carefully select natural, renewable, and biodegradable materials such as cotton, jute, and rubber. Some of our styles also feature REACH-compliant PVC, which is recyclable under Category 3.

We believe you deserve to know where your shoes come from. That's why we're open about our design, materials, and production process. For us, transparency isn't a marketing buzzword, it's simply the way we do things.

At Holster, it's about more than just footwear. We're proud to support charities and organisations that make a positive difference for people, animals, and the planet through shoe donations and contributions from our profits.

Over the years, we've been honoured to support organisations such as Soles4Souls, World Vision Australia, the Australian Red Cross, World Animal Protection, and the Australian Koala Foundation.
