Vegan Friendly

Recognised. But that is not what it is about.

In 2023, Holster won the award for Best Children's & Women's Trans-Seasonal Vegan Footwear Brand in Australia, presented by LUXlife Magazine. A wonderful recognition, but for Ben and Natalie, it is not a finish line. It simply confirms what they have stood for for more than twenty years.

A conviction, not a trend.

Veganism is not a marketing strategy for Holster. It is a starting point. No animal products, no animal testing, no compromises. That applies to every design, every supplier, every material.

Australia is the fastest-growing vegan country in the world and that is no coincidence. Awareness is growing. People are asking more questions about what they wear and where it comes from. Holster has been giving honest answers to those questions for years.

Why Ben and Natalie do this.

As parents, Ben and Natalie think about what they leave behind. Not as an abstract thought, but as a daily motivation.

Ben: "Our passion for animals led us to make 100% vegan footwear. Shoes without animal products, for us that is not a limitation, that is the standard."

Natalie: "Animal welfare is very close to our hearts. It is encouraging to see awareness around ethical choices continue to grow."

What you wear matters.

Holster makes sneakers from recycled ocean plastics, espadrilles and wedges from non-animal materials such as metals and cotton, and REACH-certified jelly sandals. Every pair is the result of a production process in which no animal is involved.

No grand claims. Just shoes that make sense, for you, for the animals, for the planet.
